Welcome to Studio Paz.
My mother’s maiden name is Paz, which is Spanish for Peace. I’ve always loved her name and the connection it holds. When it came time to think of what to call my creative business, I knew Paz had to be in there. I am deeply inspired by my Chicanx roots and Mexican ancestry, and it serves such an integral part of how I became an artist. It runs in my family.
This is the power of collective dreaming. I was dreamt of by my ancestors, and by you. I believe as much as I desire to create art that sparks curiosity, fosters wonder, and builds connection, that You also equally dream of this art existing in the world. That’s how we found each other. How f*cking magical is that! <3
